West Lothians School for dogs based in Uphall / Broxburn. A school where dogs learn how to have appropriate play. Playtime is a very important part of a dog's routine, not just because it’s fun, but mostly because dogs use playtime to practice some of their most essential survival skills, such as communicating, hunting and fighting. 

At Humble Hounds School, the dogs go into groups of ten with their teacher and an assistant, where they can have some free play with their friends, dig in the sand or ball pit, play on the trampolines, chase each other around the fields, play with toys or have a shot on the swings. Before having some structured play with a teacher, doing agility, scent work, puzzle games, go find, hide and seek and various other enrichment activities to help keep their brains active.

Along with all the mentally and physically enriching games and lessons at School, its important to have regular rests. For this Humble Hounds students go into smaller groups throughout the day, where some like to visit the tuck shop and pick a nice treat or chew to relax with, others go for a relaxing massage or spa treatment, some like to nap in peace on the sofas, some chill in the sensory garden, whilst others enjoy an unlimited supply of cuddles from their teachers.
